2. Conditions and procedures for registering for the Service
To register on the Platform, you must meet all of the conditions listed below:
-
be at least 18 years old on the date of registration;
-
Read and accept these CGU by ticking a box stating: “I accept the general terms and conditions of use”;
-
Create an account, in accordance with the procedures set out below in Article 3.1;
Any registration by a minor is therefore strictly prohibited. By registering or using the Platform, you warrant that you are 18 years of age or older.
2.1. Conditions for registering on the Platform
To register on the Platform, you must complete all of the mandatory fields on the registration form available on the Site. To validate your registration, you must have read and accepted these CGU. You will also receive, by e-mail sent to the address you indicated at registration, a validation link for your Account, which will then become active.
2.2. Creating a Member account
Becoming a Member means having completed the registration form and then validated your account, as indicated in Article 2.1. From that point on, you are able to use all of the Services of the Platform, namely:
-
Publish and view Carpooling Ads;
-
Communicate with other Members to agree on the terms of a Carpooling Trip;
-
Reserve one or more Seats on a Trip;
Viewing Ads is possible without any registration on the Platform.
When creating your Account, in particular via the registration form, you undertake to provide accurate and truthful personal information and to update it, via your Profile, where necessary. Should you experience any difficulty in modifying any information in your Profile, you must contact us at contact@stadiumgo.fr to inform us.
Once registered, you undertake to keep the password defined when creating your Account secret and not to disclose it under any circumstances. In the event of loss or disclosure of said password, you undertake to inform us as soon as possible. Failing this, StadiumGO will hold you solely responsible for any use of your Account by a third party.
You undertake not to create or use, under any identity whatsoever, any Accounts other than the one created during your registration.
2.3. Verification of personal data
For legal or security reasons, StadiumGO may, at any time, ask you to provide one or more supporting documents in order to verify the accuracy of the information you provided at the time of registration.
2.4. Deletion or suspension of an Account
If your Account, for any reason whatsoever, is the subject of complaints or reports, or does not comply with these CGU, StadiumGO reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to delete or suspend your Account without prior notice.
3. Use of the Services
3.1. Conditions for publishing a Carpooling Ad
As a Member of the Platform, you can publish Carpooling Ads on the Platform by providing the necessary information relating to the relevant Trip (relevant sporting event, dates, times, departure point, number of seats offered, amount of the Contribution to Costs, etc.).
However, to publish a Carpooling Ad on the Platform, you are required to meet all of the following conditions:
-
Be travelling to a sporting event that you have previously selected on the Platform and for which you wish to publish a Carpooling Ad;
-
Hold a valid driving licence;
-
Publish Carpooling Ads that concern only your personal vehicle, or the vehicle you are using for the Trip, and, where applicable, have authorization from the owner confirming that you are permitted to use said vehicle for Carpooling purposes;
-
Have valid third-party liability insurance in place for your vehicle or for the vehicle used for the Trip;
-
Use a vehicle that is in perfect working order and complies with applicable customary and legal provisions, including a valid roadworthiness test;
-
Use a vehicle that meets the following criteria: a four-wheeled passenger car with a maximum of 7 seats, excluding so-called “licence-free” cars;
-
Have no medical contraindication to driving;
-
Not offer more Seats than are actually available in your vehicle or the vehicle used for the Trip;
-
Guarantee that all Seats offered in the Ad are equipped with a seat belt;
When completing the form to add a Carpooling Ad, it is expressly stated that you cannot choose an arrival location different from that originally set by the Platform, namely the location of the Sporting Event you wish to attend and for which you have, beforehand, added a Carpooling Ad on the Platform.
It is therefore naturally excluded to attempt, by any means whatsoever, to add a so-called “classic” Carpooling Ad that does not relate to a Trip for the purpose of travelling to a Sporting Event.
You acknowledge that you are solely responsible for the content of the Carpooling Ad you publish on the Platform. Furthermore, you guarantee the accuracy and truthfulness of all information contained in this Carpooling Ad and undertake to carry out the Trip under the conditions described therein.
By publishing your Carpooling Ad, you make it visible to Members and non-members conducting a search on the Platform. StadiumGO reserves the right not to publish or, where applicable, to remove any Carpooling Ad that does not comply with these CGU.
You are also hereby informed of the penalties incurred under Article L.132-2 of the French Consumer Code, in the event that you use the Platform for professional purposes. In the event of a breach of this rule, StadiumGO reserves the right to permanently delete your Account.
3.2. Conditions for reserving a Seat on a Trip
To reserve one or more Seats on a Trip, you must be a Member and have accepted these CGU. An online Seat Reservation system is in place for Trips offered on the Platform.
Any Passenger interested in a Carpooling Ad on the Platform is free to reserve one or more Seats for the corresponding Trip, subject to the availability previously indicated by the Driver. At the time of reservation, the Passenger must pay online the amount corresponding to the Driver's Contribution to Costs and the Platform's Service Fees, where applicable.
Once the payment has been verified and validated, the Passenger who has made the Reservation receives a Reservation Confirmation by e-mail at the address provided at registration, containing all of the details of the Carpooling Trip.
From that moment on, the Driver and Passengers remain solely responsible for the proper performance of the moral agreement represented by the Reservation.
However, we remind you that in the event of any explicit attempt to agree on cash payment, thereby seeking to bypass the application, StadiumGO reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to delete or suspend your Account without prior notice.
3.2.1. Conditions for reserving a Seat on behalf of a third party
Use of one or more Services offered by the Platform is strictly personal. Consequently, all Members, whether Driver or Passenger, must correspond to the identity provided when they registered on the Platform.
However, you still have the option of reserving one or more Seats on behalf of a third party for a Trip, on the sole condition that you undertake to comply with the following rule:
-
accurately provide the Driver with the first name, age and, where applicable, contact details of the person for whom you are reserving one or more Seats on their Trip;
Nevertheless, note that it is strictly forbidden to reserve a Seat for an unaccompanied minor travelling alone on a Carpooling Trip. You may only reserve a Seat for a minor if the minor is accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Furthermore, note that the Platform is strictly reserved for the reservation of Seats for natural persons. It is therefore strictly forbidden to reserve a Seat for the transport of an object, parcel, animal or any other material item. It is also forbidden to publish a Carpooling Ad on behalf of a Driver other than yourself.
3.3. Conditions for using the Platform and its Services for non-commercial and non-professional purposes
By creating an Account on the Platform, you undertake to use the Platform and all of its Services solely for non-commercial and non-professional purposes. As a Driver, and for any Trip published on the Platform, you undertake not to request a Contribution to Costs higher than the actual costs incurred by the Trip.
Given that this is a cost-sharing arrangement, it is agreed that you are also required, as a Driver, to bear your share of the costs related to the Trip.
Although the Platform suggests a base price, as detailed in Article 5.1.1, you remain solely responsible for calculating the actual costs of the Carpooling Trip and therefore the amount requested from each Passenger. Consequently, it is your responsibility to ensure that this amount does not exceed the actual costs of the Trip, referring in particular to the applicable flat-rate tax mileage scale.
If the Platform and its Services are used with a professional vehicle such as a private-hire vehicle (VTC), taxi or company car, StadiumGO reserves the right to suspend or delete your Account. We remind you that it is strictly forbidden to make a profit and generate income through Carpooling and therefore, indirectly, through the Platform.
At StadiumGO's request, you undertake to provide any document capable of proving that you are authorized to use the vehicle on the Platform and that you do not derive any profit from it (registration document, etc.).
StadiumGO therefore reserves the right to suspend your Account, limit access to the Services or terminate these CGU if your activity on the Platform results in a profit for you, or for any reason that may lead to the suspicion that you are generating a profit on the Platform.
4. Ratings and reviews of Members
As part of the Platform's policy, StadiumGO strongly encourages you to leave a review of the Driver, or the Passenger as the case may be, with whom you have made a Trip. Any review published on another Member's Profile will be visible to all Users. The same applies to the reviews you receive. However, you do not have the ability, as a Passenger, to leave a review for another Passenger who has shared a Trip with you.
4.1. Moderation of reviews
If you do not leave a review for a Passenger or Driver, an automatic review “Good trip, I recommend!” associated with a maximum rating of 5 stars will be attributed to the Driver so that they are not penalized.
StadiumGO reserves the right not to publish or to delete any review or comment whose content does not comply with these CGU.
In the event of repeated negative reviews demonstrating inappropriate behavior that does not comply with these CGU, StadiumGO reserves the right to suspend, limit access to or permanently delete your account.
5. Financial terms and payment management
Access to the Platform and all of its services is entirely free.
Likewise, each User can freely search for, view and publish a Carpooling Ad without paying any money. Only the Reservation of one or more Seats is chargeable and includes various fees detailed below.
The payment services available on the Platform and used by all Members to make a Reservation are provided by Stripe and are therefore subject to Stripe's General Terms and Conditions of Use. By accepting these CGU, you also accept the conditions set out in the aforementioned contract imposed by Stripe.
For each Member of the Platform, an associated Stripe Connected Account is created for the sole purpose of allowing them to store their funds pending the transfer of the amounts owed to them to their bank account. Said Connected Account is subject to Stripe's General Terms and Conditions of Use mentioned above, as well as to a Connected Account Agreement which we invite you to read. Once again, by accepting these CGU, you indicate that you also accept this agreement.
This Connected Account never appears on the Platform, as all financial operations take place solely on the latter.
5.1. Contribution to Costs and collection
5.1.1. Definition of the Contribution to Costs
For each publication of a Carpooling Ad, a so-called base price is suggested to you. This indicative price, calculated according to the nature of the Trip and the distance, may be adjusted by the Driver, who may reduce it at their discretion within certain limits in order to prevent any abuse. Note that it is strictly forbidden to derive any profit from the use of the Platform.
For any Carpooling Trip, only the Driver is in a position to set the appropriate amount of the Contribution to Costs. Consequently, each Driver undertakes to limit as far as possible the amount of the Contribution to Costs they request from their Passengers to the actual costs related to the Carpooling Trip described in the Ad. By reserving one or more Seats on a Trip, the Passenger agrees to pay the amount requested by the Driver.
The calculation methods described above are available here.
5.1.2. Collection of the Contribution to Costs
Due to the use of Stripe as a payment module and the creation of a Connected Account for each Member, StadiumGO undertakes not to collect, at any time and under any circumstances, the amount paid by the Passenger corresponding to the total Contribution to Costs and the Reservation Fees relating to the Trip.
This amount, owed to the Driver, is temporarily paid into their Connected Account pending transfer to their bank account.
You nevertheless agree, where applicable, to respond to any request from StadiumGO or an administrative authority, in particular with regard to the prevention of and fight against fraud. Consequently, you also agree to provide, where necessary, any proof of address or identity document required to identify you.
If you fail to respond to such requests, StadiumGO reserves the right to take appropriate measures, including freezing the sums paid and even suspending your account.
5.1.3. Payment of the Contribution to Costs to the Driver
If the Passenger has not submitted a claim within 24 hours following the Trip, StadiumGO considers the Trip to be validated. Once this period has elapsed, you therefore have, as a Driver, a credit in your Wallet, corresponding to the total amount paid by the Passenger when making the Reservation, minus the Reservation Fees retained by StadiumGO. Consequently, your credit is equal to the amount of the Contribution to Costs paid by the Passenger.
Once the Trip has been made, the transfer will then be automatically initiated. The timeframe varies from 5 to 10 working days for the funds to appear in your bank account.
5.1.4. Limitation period
After the expiry of the applicable 5-year limitation period, any amount not claimed from StadiumGO will be deemed to belong to StadiumGO.
5.2. Reservation Fees paid by the Passenger to StadiumGO
In return for using the Platform and the Services made available by StadiumGO, the Passenger undertakes to pay Reservation Fees.
It is therefore agreed, under these CGU, that StadiumGO charges each Passenger, for each Seat reserved, an amount corresponding to 13% of the price of the Trip as set by the Driver.
For any Ad, regardless of the amount of the Contribution to Costs, the Reservation Fees shall never exceed 13% of said amount.
You acknowledge and accept that StadiumGO may, at its sole discretion, round the Reservation Fees and the Contribution to Costs up or down.
However, the minimum Reservation Fee is set at 1€ (one euro), regardless of the amount of the Trip.
6. Cancellation policy
In the context of a Carpooling Trip carried out by a Driver and for which one or more Reservations have been made, cancellation and reimbursement are subject to a number of conditions detailed below.
6.1. Refund terms
6.1.1. Cancellation by the Driver
In the event of cancellation by the Driver, for any reason whatsoever and regardless of the period prior to the scheduled departure time explicitly indicated in the Ad, the Passenger will be fully refunded the amount they have paid, namely the Contribution to Costs and the Reservation Fees relating to the Trip.
6.1.2. Cancellation by the Passenger
If the Passenger cancels their reservation, the refund terms vary depending on certain criteria detailed below:
-
If the Passenger cancels more than 24 hours before the planned departure time explicitly indicated in the Ad, the Passenger will be refunded the full amount of the Contribution to Costs. However, StadiumGO will retain the Reservation Fees and the Driver will not receive any amount whatsoever;
-
If the Passenger cancels less than 24 hours or exactly 24 hours before the planned departure time explicitly indicated in the Ad, the Passenger will be refunded half of the Contribution to Costs. However, StadiumGO will retain the Reservation Fees and the Driver will receive half of the Contribution to Costs paid by the Passenger at the time of Reservation;
-
If the Passenger cancels after the scheduled departure time explicitly indicated in the Ad, or fails to appear at the meeting point specified in the Ad within 15 minutes after the agreed time, they will not be entitled to any refund. The Driver will therefore be compensated by receiving the full Contribution to Costs. The Reservation Fees will, for their part, naturally be retained by StadiumGO.
For any cancellation made by a Passenger before departure, the cancelled Seat(s) for the Carpooling Trip are immediately made available again to other Members of the Platform, who can then reserve them online.
StadiumGO shall, at its sole discretion and based on the information available, assess the legitimacy of refund requests it receives.
7. Rules of conduct and commitments of Users and Members on the Platform
By accepting these CGU, you agree that you are solely responsible for complying with the laws, regulations and various obligations applicable to the use of the Platform and its Services. Every Member and User of the Platform is expected to behave in an irreproachable and appropriate manner towards the other Members or Users.

If it becomes necessary to apply one or more of these measures to your Account, you will be expressly notified at the e-mail address provided when creating your Account so that you can provide StadiumGO with further explanations about the facts in question. StadiumGO will then decide, at its sole discretion, whether or not to maintain the measures taken.
9. Personal data
In the context of your use of the Platform, StadiumGO may collect and process certain personal data about you. By using the Platform and once you have created an Account and become a Member, you agree to the processing of your personal data by StadiumGO in accordance with the applicable law and the provisions of our Privacy Policy available online.

10.1. Content published by StadiumGO
StadiumGO is the sole holder of all intellectual property rights relating to the Services, the Platform and its content (including texts, images, drawings, logos, videos, sounds, data, graphics, etc.) as well as the software and databases that ensure their operation. This ownership applies to the Platform, to StadiumGO's social network pages and accounts, and to the various e-mails sent by StadiumGO.

StadiumGO is authorized to reproduce all or part of your content on any digital recording medium, in particular on any server, hard disk, memory card or any other equivalent medium, in any format and by any process, to the extent necessary for any operation of storage, backup, transmission or download related to the operation of the Platform;
-
StadiumGO is authorized to adapt and translate your content and to reproduce all such adaptations on any digital medium, for the purpose of providing the Services in different languages. 11. Role, operation and availability of the Platform
11.1. Role of StadiumGO
StadiumGO, via its Platform, aims to put Members in contact with each other so that they can undertake a Carpooling Trip. To this end, Members can create and publish Ads for Carpooling Trips. Other Members can freely consult these Ads to find out the conditions of the Trip or, where applicable, directly reserve one or more Seats in the vehicle of the Member who posted the Ad on the Platform.
By using the Platform and its Services, you accept these CGU and acknowledge that StadiumGO is not a party to any agreement entered into between you and the other Members. Consequently, StadiumGO has no control over the behavior of its Members or Users of the Platform.
StadiumGO does not own, provide or manage the vehicles referred to in the Ads, nor does it offer Trips on the Platform. It does not provide any transport service; its role is limited to acting as an intermediary between several Members wishing to make a Carpooling Trip.
During a Carpooling Trip, all Members, including Drivers and Passengers, act under their sole and entire responsibility, in accordance with the provisions of the Civil Code relating to the law of obligations and contractual civil liability, as detailed in the articles available here.
StadiumGO disclaims all liability, in particular in the following cases:
-
where the Driver provides incorrect information in their Ad or by any other means in relation to the Trip;
-
in the event of cancellation or modification of a Trip by a Member;
-
in the event of inappropriate behavior by a Member during, before or after the Trip;
11.2. Operation and availability of the Platform
It is agreed in these CGU that StadiumGO will make every reasonable effort to keep the Platform accessible 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. However, due to various maintenance operations, updates or breakdowns, access to the Platform may be temporarily suspended without notice.
StadiumGO reserves the right to modify or interrupt, at its sole discretion, temporarily or permanently, access to the Platform or to any of its Services.
12. Amendments to the CGU
For various reasons, StadiumGO may need to amend these CGU, in particular to adapt to and comply with changes in regulations. Any amendment to these CGU will automatically be published on the Platform, indicating the date of update before it enters into force. It will be up to each person to accept them in order to continue using the Platform and its Services.
13. Applicable law, jurisdiction and disputes
These CGU are drafted in French and governed by French law.
In the event of a dispute, we invite you to immediately contact our teams at the e-mail address contact@stadiumgo.fr so that the necessary steps can be taken.
An online dispute resolution platform, set up by the European Commission, is also available at this address. Under the rules applicable to mediation, you are required to have notified StadiumGO in writing of any dispute in order to seek an amicable solution before submitting any request for mediation.
